Summons – Annual Communication 2026

Summons

The Worshipful Master, VW Bro. Ralph Quander, is pleased to Summon all members of North Sea Armed Forces Lodge #829 and Invite all Brethren from duly Recognized and Constituted Lodges under the United Grand Lodges of Germany (VGLvD) or regular and accredited Lodges under the jurisdiction of other Grand Lodges, to attend the Annual Communication and Installation of Officers at a Stated Communication on the Entered Apprentice Degree, scheduled to be convened at the Concordenhaus, located at Hinter der Holzpforte 2, Bremen, on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at 16:00 hrs. The purpose of this Communication is:

To conclude old business
To receive the Annual Reports
To Install and Obligate the Master-Elect
To Install and Obligate all Officers-Elect
To conduct any business which may be presented in due form to the Lodge.

The Annual Communication is an Open Installation, whereby non-Masons – family and friends – are cordially invited to attend for the Installation and Obligation ceremonies. Separate details on timing will be sent to all non-Masons who are registered with the Bro. Secretary.

An informal evening meal will be held after the Stated Communication in Restaurant Dunia. Prior registration for the dinner is required in advance for all guests, through the Bro. Secretary. Members of the Lodge who do not wish to attend the meal are to excuse themselves through the Bro. Secretary, or will be marked as attending.

The Third Monday in June falls on Monday, 15 June 2026, and is an ideal day / evening to spend time in convivial surroundings talking about all things Freemasonry, and also a few minor side subjects too.

As always we will meet at 18:00 and begin with a few drinks and conversation, and then move to our evening meal at a suitable time.

The evening begins with conversation and drinks at 18:00, and continues into the later evening with an a la Carte menu for dinner.

A wide range of subjects may, and will, be discussed, including questions on Freemasonry in general, and this Lodge in particular. Although the Lodge works in the English language, the evening will be conducted in German.
